Do you know for sure?
Do you know for sure that you are going to Heaven or is that something you are still working on?
If you are not sure, then here are 5 things from the bible that you need to know:
1. Heaven is a free gift (Romans 6:23).
It is not earned or deserved (Ephesians 2:8,9).
2. It is not earned or deserved because we all are sinners in spite of our good
works (Romans 3:23).
3. God loves us (1 John 4:8).
Still, he is just and must punish us for our sins (Exodus 34:7).
4. So here is the problem which is our sins. Yet this problem was solved when
Jesus Christ died on the cross and rose from the dead. He did this to pay the
penalty for our sins and to purchase a place in Heaven for us (Isaiah 53:6).
5. When we believe and trust what Jesus Christ did, then we are saved
(Acts 16:31).
So what's next after we are saved?
It becomes our responsibility to grow and that is why Blessed Fellowship Ministries exists. We help others grow in Jesus name (2nd Peter 1:10).
